Education – your ticket to university and a passport to a future career
Many people come to Poland to study. However, Polish universities need to know your educational background before they can accept your application. That is where the translation of certificates of education and diploma supplements comes in. These aren’t just pieces of paper — they are proof of your qualifications, a list showing what subjects you have studied, what results you have achieved, and outline what you’ve learned. Your ZNO or NMT exam results are your pass to further education. Universities use them to determine whether you meet the admission criteria and can study your dream course. In some cases, you’ll also need a translated exam participant card for additional verification of your achievements.
Don’t forget about school certificates — they make it possible to enrol in secondary or post-secondary schools. If you are applying for social or financial support, translated tax certificates are also important, as Polish institutions require need to be clear about your income.
Employment – making a good impression and confirming your professional experience
The next step is finding a job. Here, it’s not only about what you can do, but also how you can prove it. Letters of recommendation, employment certificates, and certificates of completed courses gain full value only when they’re understandable to your potential employer.
Previous employment contracts may also be required, especially when you want to confirm the length of employment or prove your experience. While you can prepare a CV or portfolio by yourself, having your original documents translated helps to maintain a complete and professional picture of your career.

Family – personal and official matters
Family life in Poland often begins with a visit to the Civil Registry Office. There, the most important documents are birth, marriage, and death certificates. Thanks to them, you can register a child, get married or settle inheritance matters.
A certificate of marital status is required before getting married, especially when one of the partners is a Polish citizen. If you’re thinking about staying in Poland for a long time, translating your employment record book is important again — this time to count your employment years toward your pension.
