 How much does it cost?

If you are thinking about translating your website, the price is certainly puzzling you. How much does a website translation cost? It depends, of course, on its volume.

Such translation is priced on the basis of characters with spaces, and 1 billing page is 1500 characters with spaces. The fee for 1 such page starts from PLN 50 net.

You can find the basic tariffs per billing page in our price list. Please note, however, that these rates are for non-specialised language. If your website contains, for example, medical or technical texts, the cost will be higher.

The price also depends on which language you choose to translate your website. For example, an English translation will be much cheaper than an Arabic or Chinese translation.

How long does it take?

How long does it take to translate a website? This depends on its volume, degree of specialisation and language. If it is a short non-specialised text in a common language, the translation will take a few working days.

If you have a specific deadline for your translation, please let us know at the quote request step. We will then try to adapt the proposed deadline to your requirements.

Automatic translation of websites? Does it make sense?

Before deciding to include an automatic website translation, consider this carefully and whether a website translation done by a professional would be a better option.

Automatic translation ─ advantages

It is certainly quick and easy ─ just a click away. It does not require searching for a suitable translator or translation agency, discussing the terms of cooperation and then waiting for the translation to be done. You can translate a page into different languages at the same time. For uncomplicated vocabulary into a popular foreign language, the quality of an automatic translation may be sufficient.

Tłumaczenia stron internetowych są dobrym pomysłem na przyciągnięcie odbiorców z innych krajów.

Automatic translation ─ disadvantages

Although this is a simple way to do it, the potential disadvantages of such a solution are many. It may be the case that a viewer who comes to our website and automatically translates it will understand the general sense of the most important messages, but will not recognise our company as a professional service provider.

Through automatic translation, the content of a website can be distorted and some information in a foreign language can even mislead potential customers. Although it is a very simple solution and can be applied with a single click, by doing so we risk not only our image, but also the loss of a potential client or investor who is scared off by the content on our website.

This type of translation may also not match the layout of the website, for example. The translator is able to paraphrase and adjust the length of sentences, the machine unfortunately cannot. If you have keywords that you would like to use in such a translation, unfortunately this can also prove problematic and your site’s visibility in search results will drop.

There is a universal principle at work here: quality comes at a price, and although we keep hearing about the development of automatic translations, the preparation of foreign-language websites with our offerings requires a high level of competence.

Google Translate will not become your friend if you want to build a professional image. A translation done by a professional will certainly perform much better. ‘The machine’ will not take responsibility for what it creates, while we will. 🙂

Mimo, że automatyczne tłumaczenie strony można uzyskać jednym kliknięciem, nie jest to polecane rozwiązanie.

TRANSCREATION and LOCALIZATION ─ what is it, and how is it connected to website translation?

Transcreation and localisation play key roles in marketing translation and remind us that the translator often has to be creative.

Our translation agency will take these adaptation processes into account when quoting a website translation for you.

LOCALIZATION

It is the adaptation of the translated text to the cultural realities of the target country or region, meaning that translation into the chosen language is not everything! What truly matters is specialized knowledge, familiarity with the local market, understanding local consumers, and recognizing cultural differences. A person who knows the language well but lacks additional knowledge of the country’s realities will not be able to carry out proper website localization.

One example is how amusement is expressed in different languages. In Japan, for instance, it can be represented by ‘草’ (meaning ‘grass’). A translator unfamiliar with this expression might mistakenly search for references to gardening!

TRANSCREATION

When you read the source text and the resulting text, and suddenly notice that ‘the flair is missing,’ be almost certain that what’s lacking is precisely this: transcreation. A non-literal translation of the webpage that also takes into account context, style, intentions, and emotions, preferably crafted in the new language with a copywriting touch, is the result of this adaptation process.

Which language should I translate my website into?

When deciding to translate a website and considering the language, let us consider several aspects:

  • What is our target market/audience?
  • What is our marketing budget? (The rarer the language, the higher the cost of translation.)
  • What is the company’s development plan? (For example, a gradual introduction of the product/service to additional markets, leading to the gradual commissioning of translations into more languages.)
  • Which regions offer the potential to attract investors, partners, or collaborators in our industry?Tłumaczenie stron internetowych pozwoli na zyskanie nowych klientów.
