Yes, the entire process can be done online. How do you do this?

  1. Send us a scan or picture of the document for a quote. The fastest way to do this is to use our free quote form. Enter your name, surname, email address and telephone number (optional), select the target language of the translation and indicate which deadline you would be interested in.
  2. You will receive a quote on the email provided.
  3. Pay for your request and send us a payment confirmation (then we don’t have to wait for the transfer to appear in our account, you will find the payment details under the quotation table).
  4. Wait for the translation (you were given a precise deadline in the quote).
  5. Once the translation has been completed, you will receive a scan of the document by email and an indication that it is available for collection. If you have opted for a translation with a certified electronic signature, you will only receive the electronic document by email.
  6. If you have paid extra for shipping, we will send the parcel. You will receive a proof of payment (receipt or VAT invoice) together with the commissioned translation.

  • appointments in government offices (for instance, to submit the documents required for a civil marriage)
  • court hearings (when one of the parties or witnesses only speaks Italian)

Price list

How much does it cost to translate into Italian? What is the price of one A4 page in Italian?

Unfortunately, there is no clear and concrete answer to these questions. The reason for this is primarily the way translations are quoted. They are priced on the basis of characters with spaces, not physical pages.

One billing page is 1125 characters with spaces for sworn translations and 1500 characters with spaces for non-sworn translations.

When calculating a certified translation, any graphical elements in the document, stamps, signatures, handwritten notes, deletions, etc., must also be taken into account. These must be described by the sworn translator.

What is the easiest and fastest way to obtain a translation quote? Use the special form on our website to get a non-binding quote. Link below.

Italian translations – what will increase the price of translation?

The price list on our website includes tariffs for documents drawn up in a common language. Which translation will be priced at the higher rates?

  • express translation (the shorter the deadline, the higher the price)
  • specialised texts (for example, technical or medical translations. The higher the degree of specialisation of the text, the higher the price. Thus, user manuals are bound to be more expensive than, for example, simple marketing leaflets, as they require contact with a technical Italian translator)
  • handwriting
  • translation of old, damaged, illegible documents
