Danish translation – what services do we offer?

At our translation agency, we offer sworn and non-sworn translations, both written and oral, from Danish into Polish and from Polish into Danish.

In addition to the standard documents listed below, we also provide various types of specialised translations in many different fields. These are mainly technical translations (user manuals, technical specifications, leaflets) and medical translations (hospital discharges, vaccination cards, operation descriptions, test results).

If you would like a sworn or a non-sworn Danish translation, please contact us.

Sworn Danish translation – what should you know?

Not every Danish translator is licensed to carry out certified translations. Such a translation can only be carried out by a sworn Danish translator.

This is a person who, in addition to having an excellent knowledge of the Danish language, must also meet a number of other requirements and, after passing a state examination, must be solemnly sworn in by the Minister of Justice.

You can be sure that the quality of the translation carried out by our company will be of the highest standard, as only proven and trusted sworn and non-sworn Danish translators cooperate with us.

Non-sworn Danish translation – what should you know?

Not sure what kind of translation you need? If a document is to be submitted to an office, court, bank, notary, university or other formal institution, you will most likely need a sworn Danish translation. A person who works as a Polish-Danish translator and who is not certified as a sworn translator is then not sufficient.

A sworn translation costs slightly more than an non-sworn translation, but it includes an official clause, seal and signature of a sworn translator, which is a requirement of many institutions in Poland and abroad. An non-sworn translation is sent to the client in electronic form and does not contain any stamps or the translator’s signature (the whole process takes place online).

Examples of non-sworn translations provided:

  • websites and applications
  • literary texts
  • books
  • scientific papers
  • articles for publications
  • marketing materials (leaflets, posters, brochures, product labels)

Danish translations – how to request a translation?

If you decide to use our services (not only when it comes to Danish), please send us your document for a quote.

To send us a document, you can use our free quote form or write to us by email. Remember that scans or photos of the document should be of high quality. The text must not be cut off or smudged. Also, stamps, signatures and other graphic elements (if any) must be clearly visible.

You can also send guidelines right away:
– sworn and non-sworn translations: the deadline you wish to meet
– sworn translations: method of collection (i.e. how you will collect the translated documents from us, in person, by parcel post, or just a scan sent by email)
– sworn translations: submission of the original (whether you provide us with the original or we have to make a translation ‘from a copy’)
– sworn and non-sworn translations: other guidelines (e.g. if you do not need to translate the whole document, but only certain pages).

Once the quote has been accepted, we will begin the translation process.

We can (for an extra charge) send the sworn translation by courier or parcel post (within Poland) or by international priority post (e.g. to Denmark). Please note that shipping within Poland takes an additional 1-2 working days, and shipping abroad takes up to 5 working days.

Danish-Polish translations – deadlines.

The deadline for completion depends primarily on the length of the text and its subject matter. We are able to complete simple, short documents in as little as 2 working days.

To receive an exact deadline for your order, send us a document and wait for a quote. If the deadline proposed therein does not meet your expectations, please let us know as soon as possible. We will check if it is possible to speed up the translation process.

We offer translations in 3 modes:

  • ordinary mode
  • urgent procedure
  • express mode

However, it may be the case that all our Danish translators, are busy with a large number of assignments at any given time and express translation will not be possible.

If you are concerned about time, send us the document as soon as possible and ask what the fastest possible date for your order will be.
